And as WarnerMedia stated, the premiere has crossed over 9.986 Million viewers across linear & HBO Max platforms, and the shocking fact is that these stats are only of the U.S. Sunday night.

As we all know how popular Game of Throne was between 2011 to 2019, and the show still holds the record of the most viewed show of all time.
Now, after four years, “House of the Dragon” is the first sequel that made great hype, and if we talk about its story, so it plays the past family tree story of Targaryen with Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen.
According to ShowBuzzDaily, the first episode gained over 2.170 Million viewers via linear in the U.S. on Sunday.
This means all other views were from the HBO Max platform, which is around 7.816 Million viewers, so it was the largest series launch on HBO Max too.
This series will have a total of 10 episodes which seems to be with the same hype and excitement, but there’s “no judgment” until its final episode will reach.
HBO has already unveiled the release date of the final episode, which is October 23.
Also, on the same day, House of the Dragon was a trending topic on Twitter, and at the same time, it trended #1 on Google Trends.
