Ubisoft has officially unveiled a new Assassin’s Creed game, whose leaks we have seen for a while, and last week, the name also got leaked on Reddit, but now finally, we have its launch timeline.
The name of this game is Assassin’s Creed: Mirage, which we already saw in leaks. The company always aims to take you to an entirely new experience after every release, and this time it has chosen Baghdad.
Assassin’s Creed Mobile Game’s Detail Hinted By Ubisoft At the Event
The time-traveling game series will now shift to the 9th century of the capital city of Iraq, and the playable character in this game will be an assassin named Basim, who is already seen in Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla & Rebellion.
Besides, for the player who played Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, the name “Mirage” might give them deja vu as it was used 20 years before the main Valhalla storyline.
This game is not coming very soon or by the end of this year because the developer company already holds many new titles for this year, such as Valhalla’s Final Chapter will arrive in the coming months.
So Ubisoft will launch Mirage in any month of next year. Besides, Ubisoft is working on the first open-world version of Assassin’s Creed for smartphones, whose codename is “Jade“.
Currently, no details are available about its launch, but it is said to be set in ancient China, and the players will also customize their playable character.
Also, Ubisoft holds an unknown mobile title, which will be exclusive to Netflix’s gaming service.
With all that, Ubisoft also unveiled its future plan for mainline games with a project named “Infinity,” and this includes two different games with codenames “Red” and “Hexe“.
The “Red” is said to be set in Japan, and the Hexe’s locations are unknown. Separately, rumors are also suggesting sort of an online hub for Project Infinity, which will allow players to play multiplayer but not in storyline.
