Microsoft Releases Its New Xbox Wireless Headset

One of the biggest highlights of the new Xbox Wireless Headset is the addition of Dolby Atmos, which comes at no additional cost. According to Xbox, Dolby Atmos “transforms your audio experience by revealing depth, clarity, and details like never before, creating a sound experience you can feel all around you.”

Powered by advanced spatial audio technology and with built-in support for Dolby Atmos, Windows Sonic, and DTS Headphone:X, the device delivers sound with stunning precision, allowing the user to pinpoint every footstep, explosion, or whisper.

It also has improved battery life, offering up to 20 hours of playtime per charge, which may vary significantly with distance from the console, additional accessories, usage, and other factors, says Xbox. Further, the headset gets an upgraded microphone too, which includes advanced auto-mute and voice isolation for crystal-clear communication while minimizing background noise.

Additionally, the headset offers direct pairing with Xbox consoles and Bluetooth 5.3 for easy connectivity to PCs and mobile devices, allowing the user to seamlessly switch between platforms without the need for dongles or extra setups. The headset also comes with Qualcomm S5 Gen 2 technology, which allows users to enjoy ultra-low latency wireless connectivity for smooth, uninterrupted gameplay.

Lastly, the adjustable headband and plush earcups provided in the new Xbox Wireless Headset offer a snug, comfortable fit and maximum comfort that is required for long gaming sessions.

The new Xbox Wireless Headset is now available for $109.99 MSRP directly from Xbox, Best Buy, and the Microsoft Store and should soon be available at more retailers.
